Apartments, formerly The Rebel Motel, and Shoe Doctor damage after the the 2006 F2 tornado struck. A postcard published by Economy Advertising reads 'REBEL MOTEL: Built in 1963 and 1964 during the Civil War Centennial. The Rebel is conveniently located in downtown Ioaw City.
