1972: Mayor C.L. Brandt
C.L. Brandt was mayor of Iowa City 1972 to 1973, serving one term. According to Downtown Redevelopment, The Iowa City Story, Mayor Clement "Tim" Brandt "served eight years as Council Member (two as Mayor), during which the contract was signed with the single developer for City-University Project R-14 (Caliger, p. 8, 1983).
