J. J. Stach
Joseph J. Stach was born about 1850 in Germany and immigrated in 1867. His wife was Teresa Stach, and they had six children: Mary E., Philip J., Joseph C., Anna, Alice T., and Carl T. The 1908 City Directory lists him as the proprietor of a shoe store at 17 South Dubuque Street.
The first attached ad is from the May 15, 1903, issue of the Iowa Citizen. The second attached ad was published in the Iowa City Citizen on January 13, 1909. The third ad attached was published in the Iowa City Citizen on July 16, 1909. The attached article was published on March 1, 1913, in the Iowa City Daily Press.
