The Whetstone Pharmacy
The Whetstone Pharmacy was on the corner of Clinton and Washington Streets. John H. Whetstone and his grandson Robert Whetstone’s home address was in University Heights. They are both listed in the 1910 Census as merchants of drugs. John’s wife was named Mahaska B.
The Iowa City Citizen published the attached articles on July 23, 1909 (longer) and July 8, 1908.
