C. C. Putnam [and] F. E. Humeston

Clyde C. Putnam was the proprietor of the Merchants Lunch Room at 214 East College Street. His home address was 510 South Capitol, according to the 1908 City Directory, and his wife was named Clara F. In the 1911 City Directory, he is listed as a lawyer at Crescent Block, residing at 108 South Dodge.

Frank E. Humeston was listed as living at 221 ½ East College Street in the 1908 City Directory. He was the manager of the Merchants Lunch Room, and his wife was named Josephine L. In the 1910 Census, Frank’s birth year was about 1879 and they had two children, Maxine and Lad.
